Who we are

FeastQuote connects event organisers with approved local caterers. We are the data controller for the information described below. Contact us at hello@feastquote.com.

What we collect and why

If you request quotes: your event details, name, email address and optional phone number. We use these to deliver your enquiry to approved caterers covering your area and to relay their responses to you. This is necessary to provide the service you asked for.

If you register as a caterer: your business details, email address and a securely hashed password, used to run your account, deliver matched enquiries and manage your subscription.

If you leave a review: your rating, your words and the name you choose to display. Review invitations only go to organisers whose booking we have verified.

Who sees your contact details

Your contact details are only shared with a caterer once that caterer responds to your enquiry. Caterers who never respond never see them. We do not sell personal information to anyone.

Marketing

When you submit an enquiry you can tick a box to receive occasional offers from FeastQuote caterers by email. We only send these if you ticked it, every such email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing stops them immediately. We may also email you about the service itself, for example responses to your own enquiry.

Where your data lives

Our database runs on our own server in Germany, and the website runs from Frankfurt. Emails are delivered through Resend, our email provider, which processes recipient addresses and message content on our behalf. We use cookieless, aggregate visitor analytics; we do not run advertising trackers.

How long we keep it

Enquiries, responses and reviews form the service's business record and are retained while the service operates. Records of account and billing decisions are kept for as long as the law expects. If you ask us to erase your personal information, we anonymise it in place so your identity is removed while the anonymous record survives.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your personal information, ask us to correct it, ask us to erase it, and object to marketing at any time: hello@feastquote.com. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
